I can’t believe I was able to get an Instacart delivery today! Two hour window, too. Can’t seem to get that in Brooklyn, but I’ll try when we get back. It seems like if you try to order earlier in the day here, you’re able to get the delivery same day.
We took a ride to the ATM and since we have to pass by our favorite greasy spoon “Stewart’s Root Beer” we noticed it was OPEN! Seems like a lot of places are open on the weekends here at the shore.
So we decided to take another jaunt on the beach and get some ice cream from Barnacle Bills. Main Moose Tracks is my new favorite flavor. We also were able to purchase cones (waffle cones!) and sprinkles among other toppings they offered. They had very good social distancing set up.
After we purchased our ice cream, we headed back to the house and my husband took a ride to Stewart’s and got us some lunch. They make the best cheese steaks in NJ! I also got to indulge in some classic root beer. So good!
I never want to go back to Brooklyn. Darling daughter agrees ?
