My husband and I realized that the film “The Mist” is a perfect allegory for what it happening in our country.
Is the monster outside, or inside among us?
I often wonder if I’d be having some of these thoughts if I didn’t have my daughter. I worry for her future. Would I be this concerned if I were alone?
Enough of the existential crisis, back to fun.
It was another lovely day at Ortley.
I got to witness the fog rolling in from the ocean inland and it was amazing! I truly with I had a camera with a polarizing filter to capture the mist in the sky as it rolled in. It was mesmerizing.
Got lunch from Stewart’s Root Beer again. They messed up our order but they were able to get it all fixed for us. We thoroughly enjoyed eating it on the patio.
Then we went to enjoy the remainder of our evening at the beach.
