Today was kind of somber. I think it’s only because we aren’t at our shore house. Kiddo has NOT been thrilled to be back in Brooklyn. She’s been very clear about that. ? Bit we are going back this weekend.
Had a few zoom meeting with the committee today. Got a lot of great info. We also spoke about the covid task force the IATSE has going. Looks like everything is headed in the good direction. I pray I can return to work by August.
After our first meeting, I joined the family in the yard. I got to chat with the neighbors over our fences. It’s always nice to have some human interaction other than our immediate family.
I decided to have a painting party with my sweetheart in the yard. It really was a lovely day.
I bought two paint-by-number paintings while I was pregnant. I planned to paint them during maternity leave. HA! That never happened. But I’m really glad that I have these now. They’re really challenging and fun and do truly pass the time. As you can see, my kiddo loves to paint like her mommy.
So all in all it was a good day. Can’t complain. Well, I could, but would you really listen?
